November 23. Trip to St.Kilda.

**Please note that there is a general threat of strike action against V-Line. This would mean the trip could be cancelled - so check the blog on the 22nd to see if any change has been made.** VLine now assure us that service will not be interrupted 

#We'll travel to Melbourne on the 8.01 train from Wendouree/ 8.19 from Ballarat. Please register with Marlene at Ballarat so we know who is attending.

#Train arrives 9.51, with leaders,Shirley and Mark, meeting the group at the southern end of the station, just beyond the ticket barrier, and near the toilets and waiting room.

# Tram from Collins St stop - Route 12 to St Kilda. Our stop is 141, Cowderoy St, where the walk will commence around 10.20.

   We'll be following the Yalukit Indigenous Trail, starting at the nearby foreshore, through parkland and then have lunch at the Catani Gardens. Bring lunch as there are no nearby cafes.

   The early afternoon will include time on St Kilda pier, and a stroll through an area of "Boomtime" historical buildings.

# Tram 96, around 2.30, will take us back to Southern Cross Station. A train at 3.16 will get you back to Ballarat at 16.41, or Wendouree at 16. 51.

# This is an easy walk of around 7km, with lots to see in this fascinating part of Melbourne.
